DAREKA X THE MASCHINE

 

Daréka Darémo has been performing his poetry since 2005 in France, the United States, and over twenty other countries. Acting as a solo artist with the electronic project DAREKA X THE MASCHINE (FISPA festival, Canada, 2025), he also released in 2025 his first EP with his punk poetry band, La Bête Aveugle. Vice-President for Europe of the NGO World Poetry Slam Organization, Daréka has co-organized the World Poetry Slam Championships from 2022 to this day. An active member of the Paris Poetry Brothel since 2018, he contributes to several poetry publications. His poetry collection Tourbillons (Xérographes Ed.) was published in 2019, and his latest project, ERIKA X DAREKA, a mix of dance, poetry, and electronic music, was staged in Sibiu, Romania, in November 2024.
