Mad Kate is an electronic producer, performance artist, musician and writer based in Berlin. Their explorations of borders between bodies and performance as praxis of radical imaginings have brought them to theatres, communes, technomansions, prisons, dungeons, squats and galleries around the world. Mad Kate is one half of the producer-performer electronic duo HYENAZ and front singer of heart-cunt-punk-band Mad Kate / the Tide. They choreographed and danced with the performance group Clusterfuck for PEACHES “There’s Only One Peach with the Hole in the Middle” and recently starred in PEACHES video "No Lube so Rude" (dir Matt Lambert). As a solo artist, Mad Kate is at work on sexWORKperformanceART, a/v performance pieces which explore the intersections of the sexual/ized body in Art and Labour.
